Starting in 2011, edge devices and RMXd Dual Fader panels began using a detented encoder: 

Detented Rotary Encoder: 24-201 (Alps EC11E09204A4)
Detented Encoder Knob: 32-735

Note that the detented encoder cannot be used in place of the rotary encoder on existing products, but there are upgrade kits for pre-2011 edge devices that have the new detented encoders mounted on a switchboard:
